A perfectly serviceable and beautiful looking game, offset by painfully slow desert hoverbike travel and a lack of genuine threats – other than rapidly increasing terminal boredom. A sterile nonplace of fetch questy repetition, despite its rich worldbuilding. While impressive spaceship relics exist, there don’t seem enough human bones scattered among the shifting dunes to suggest the passing of time. The narrative of the main character and their story arc also don’t seem strong enough. An indie darling, nonetheless – just one largely devoid of death.
